Teasel is an independent clothing brand based in Devon, celebrating the wildlife, plants and landscapes found around us.
Our designs take inspiration from the natural world close to home — hedgerows alive with birds and insects, woodland fungi, garden wildlife, wildflowers, rivers, coastlines and the changing seasons.
The idea is simple: to make nature-inspired clothing that feels a little more considered. Not generic wildlife graphics, but designs rooted in real species, habitats and the relationships between them.
Made for people who care about the natural world
Teasel is for the people who notice what’s flowering on the roadside, recognise the bird on the garden feeder, stop to look at a mushroom in the woods or find themselves watching a bee work its way around a foxglove.
You don’t need to be an expert naturalist. Just someone who feels better with a little more nature around them.
Our illustration style draws on vintage natural-history artwork and old field guides — detailed enough to feel authentic, but designed first and foremost to look good on a T-shirt.
A small brand from Devon
Teasel started here in Devon, surrounded by the kind of places that continue to inspire the brand: old woodland, hedgerows, meadows, rivers and the South West coast.
The idea grew out of a long-standing love of wildlife and the outdoors. I wanted to create T-shirts I’d genuinely choose to wear myself — good quality, understated and rooted in the natural world I love.

The designs are printed here in the UK on soft 100% organic cotton T-shirts, chosen for quality, comfort and everyday wear.
Our UK printing partner uses water-based inks and a waterless, energy-efficient printing process, helping us make clothing in a more considered way without filling the page with vague sustainability claims.
